I did the tutorial in PSP9, but I’m sure it can be made in other versions as well.

This is what we are going to make:

You will need:

PSP

A photo, not smaller than 500 pixels at the longest side.

Ready? Okay let’s begin.

Take this clip with you, so you can see where you are in the tutorial

Step 1.

Open your photo and copy it – Shift + D close the original.

Step 2.

Image – Resize – change the size to 500 x 375  pixels

Step 3.

Right click on the layer in your layerpalette, and duplicate the layer.

Step 4.

Close the duplicate, and make the first photo layer active.

Adjust – Blur – Gausian Blur – Blur 30 %

Step 5.

Adjust – Add noice – Gaussian – 10 % - monocrome

Step 6.

Make the top layer active.

Pick you lasso tool, with these settings:

Draw around the roses with the lasso, make sure you don’t get to close to the edges.

Step 7.

Selections – Invert

Hit Delete on your keyboard once.

Selections – Select none.

You can move your image down a bit, if you think it will look better.

Step 8.

New raster layer

Flood fill with #961f3b

Selections – Select all – Selections modyfy – contract – 7 pixels – ok

Hit delete on your keyboard once

Step 9.

Selections – Invert

Adjust – Add noice – Gaussian – 30 % - flueben i monocrome

Step 10.

Effects – 3 D effects, Inner bevel with these settings:

Selection – Select none

Step 11.

New raster layer.

Put your watermark or your name on this layer.

Step 12.

Merge visible and Export as a .jpg file.
