I wrote this tutorial from my own ideas, any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental.

Supplies needed:

PSP I used PSP 9, but I’m sure it can be made in other versions as well.

One image  - I used my new granddaughter, so I can’t give you that image.

One bead tube – I used one of my own beads

One scrap element – I used one of my own elements

Plugin: Simple

Notes:

All settings will remain the same unless otherwise stated.

Step 1.

Open your image – duplicate (Ctrl + D) and close the original.

Image copy, minimize for now.

Step 2.

Pick a light color for your foreground color and a dark for your background color.

Step 3.

Image add border 3 pixels with your light color, 3 pixels with your dark color and again 3 pixels with your light color.

Step 4.

Image add border 30 pixels with your dark color.

Step 5.

Activate your magic wand with these settings:

Select your 30 pixels border.

Step 6.

Adjust – blur with these settings:

Step 7.

Adjust – add noise with these settings:

Step 8.

Add a new raster layer.

Activate your tube tool and find mh_gold_bead, use these settings:

Step 9.

Effects – Plugins – simple – Top left mirror.

Step 10.

Image add borders – 3 pixels with your dark color

Step 11.

Open mh_scrapelement, copy and paste as a new layer.

Image mirror – move to the top left corner..

Step 12.

Adjust – Color Balance – Manual color correction, like this:

Step 13.

Effects – Plugins – Simple – top left mirror.

Step 14.

Effects – 3d effects – drop shadow, with these settings:

Step 15.

Add your text and/or watermark, and export as a JPG file.

Step 16.

If your image is too big then resize it, I resized mine like this:
