I did the tutorial in PSP9, but I’m sure it can be made in other versions as well.

This is what we are going to make:

You will need:

PSP

Plugins:

Fantastic Machines – Paint Engine

Photo Tools – Gradient sky

And:

One image

2 tubes, I used:

HJR_Flowers_magnolia2, thank you Hans

and

13few_couple

And the texture Patternred - Put this in your Pattern folder in PSP

Ready? Okay let’s begin

Take this flower with you, so you can see where you are in the tutorial

Step 1:

Open new image 640 x 480 transparent.

Select all

Step 2:

Open the image Purple and copy it, close the original

Paste into selection – Select none

Step 3:

Effects – Plugin – Photo Tools – Gradient sky, with these settings:

Step 4:

Effects – Plugin – Fantastic Machines – Paint Engine, with these settings:

Repeat the plugin – CTRL + Y

Step 5:

New raster layer

Open HJR_Flowers_magnolia2 copy, close the original, and paste as a new layer on your working canvas.

Move the tube to the right side of your canvas, and move it down to the bottom.

Step 6:

Drop Shadow with these settings:

Step 7:

Open the tube 13few_couple, copy it and paste as a new layer on your working canvas, close the original.

Move the tube to the left top cornor.

Set blend mode to Soft light

Step 8

New raster layer

Pick a color from the image to your background color, I used  #54354b

Activate your text tool, find a font you like. Use these settings

Write your text

Do NOT deselect.

Effects – Texture Effects – Sculpture – Find Patternred

Selections – select none

Step 9:

Merge all

Edit – copy – paste as new image.

Image effects – seamless tiling, with these settings

Step 10

Back to your main image

Add borders, with these settings:

With your magic wand, select the border

Step 11

Edit – paste into selection.

Adjust – blur – gaussian blur:

Adjust – Add noise with these settings:

Step 12

Effects – 3d effects – Inner bevel, with these settings:

Selections – select none.

 Now you just need to put your name and/or watermark on the image.

You are done.
